Connect an AI to Tibia Daddy
Tibia Daddy is a free, open-source client for Tibia. It has an MCP server built in, so an AI app on your PC can see the game and play with you. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way AI apps connect to tools.
The server runs inside the client on your own PC, at http://127.0.0.1:<port>/mcp. It's off until you turn it on.
Turn it on
- 01In the client, open Daddy Bot → Studio → AI (MCP).
- 02Switch it on. The page shows the address your AI app connects to.
- 03Copy the ready setup for your AI app, or use the ones below.
- Port
- Automatic takes the first free port from 7190 up, so a second client running at the same time gets 7191. Or pick a fixed port.
- Access token
- Optional. When set, your AI app has to send it with every request.
- AI can act
- Off: the AI can only look. On: it can also play your character.
- Ask me before the AI spends gold or talks for me
- The client shows a box first: Yes, Yes, this session, Don't ask again or No.
Add it to your AI app
The examples use port 7190. If the client shows another port, use that one. If you set an access token, add it to the setup too; for Claude Code that's --header "Authorization: Bearer <token>".
Claude Code
Run this in a terminal.
claude mcp add --transport http tibiadaddy http://127.0.0.1:7190/mcpCursor
Add this to Cursor's MCP settings file.

}VS Code (Copilot agent mode)
Add this to mcp.json: .vscode/mcp.json in a project, or your user mcp.json.

Claude Desktop reaches the client through mcp-remote, so it needs Node.js. Open Settings → Developer → Edit Config and add this.

}Other apps
Any app that speaks MCP over streamable HTTP: give it the address.
http://127.0.0.1:7190/mcpWeb chats
Chats in the browser, such as claude.ai or ChatGPT on the web, can't reach a server on your own PC. They aren't supported for now. Use an app installed on the same PC as the client.
Two clients at once
Each client has its own port. Add each one to your AI app under its own name: tibiadaddy-1 on 7190, tibiadaddy-2 on 7191.
claude mcp add --transport http tibiadaddy-1 http://127.0.0.1:7190/mcp
claude mcp add --transport http tibiadaddy-2 http://127.0.0.1:7191/mcpTry it
Log in to a character, turn on AI can act, then ask your AI app in plain words. For example:
Kill the nearest monster, then take the ship to Thais and buy 50 mana potions from Xodet.
The AI picks the steps itself: the fight, the walk to the boat, the trip and the trade. Each step shows up in the audit log.
What the AI can do
See the game
Your status, the map, the creatures around you, your inventory, messages and screenshots.
Act as the player
Walk, attack, talk to NPCs, use items and travel.
Drive Daddy Bot
Read and change its settings, run its actions and follow what it does.
Everything the AI does is written to an audit log in the client's user folder (mcp/audit-….log). The AI never gets your password.
Safety
- Only this PC can connect: the server listens on 127.0.0.1. Web pages you visit can't drive your character.
- It's off by default, and with AI can act off the AI can only look.
- Playing with an AI follows the same game rules as playing yourself.
